Bunnies Arrive

We have welcomed the arrival of two Netherland Dwarf Rabbits to Mini Zoo UK. These have arrived from a lady who lives near to Mini Zoo, she was looking after the pair of them after being rescued from a household who could no longer look after them. That is where we have come along and took them on full time.

The Netherland Dwarf Rabbit is as you guessed it a domesticated breed of rabbit which originated in the Netherlands. This breed of rabbit is one of the smallest rabbit breeds weighing up to 1.2kg.

The new arrivals that have recently arrived at the Zoo are a male and female pair (one neutered), with the male being called Otto and the female called Misty.

Hopefully when they have calmed down and settled, we can get them use to people as at the moment slightly timid, we can have them join our “Zoo Outreach Program“.
